Woodcon Constructions – Fabrication And Erection Vessels
We Undertake the followings – Scope of Work Within Fabrication and Erection of Vessels.
1. Pre-Fabrication Activities
– Review of design drawings and technical specifications
– Preparation of fabrication shop drawings and isometrics
– Material procurement (plates, nozzles, manways, internals, etc.)
– Material inspection and testing (including PMI, UT, etc.)
– Cutting, rolling, and forming of plates
– Preparation of welding procedure specifications (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualifications (WQT)
2. Fabrication Activities
– Assembly of shell sections and heads (hemispherical, elliptical, etc.)
– Welding of longitudinal and circumferential seams
– Nozzle and manway fabrication and attachment
– Installation of stiffeners, support rings, and internal components
– Non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds (RT, UT, PT, MT, as required)
– Dimensional and visual inspections
– Surface preparation and painting/coating
– Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing as per design code
– Documentation and QA/QC record maintenance
3. Pre-Erection Activities
– Transport of fabricated vessel to erection site
– Site readiness checks and foundation verification
– Lifting plan and rigging studies
– Scaffolding and safety arrangements
4. Erection Activities
– Positioning and alignment of vessel on foundation/supports
– Welding of site joints and structural attachments
– Final NDT of site welds
– Installation of ladders, platforms, and insulation supports (if applicable)
– Final inspection and punch list clearance
– Mechanical completion and handover to commissioning team
5. Documentation and Handover
– Submission of as-built drawings
– Test reports (hydrotest, NDT, material certificates)
– Weld logs and inspection reports
– QA/QC dossier and compliance certifications
– Handover to client or commissioning team
